Description
Three vintage-inspired ring designs were created from the desire to design jewelry that refuses to be modest. These are pieces meant to draw the eye, ignite the imagination, and remain unforgettable. They are not minimalist — instead, they are sensual, expressive, and full of character.
I wanted the rings to feel substantial, bold, and sculptural — pieces you immediately sense on your hand.
They were designed to evoke the spirit of past decades while preserving modern form and balanced proportions. They feel like objects — pieces that could have belonged to someone half a century ago, yet remain entirely relevant today. Their defining feature is the sculptural fluidity of form: deep grooves, rounded edges, rhythmic lines, and soft transitions of light across the surface that create a sense of movement. Each ring has a distinct texture — sometimes gently undulating, sometimes geometrically grooved — but all share the same philosophy: jewelry that looks discovered, not bought.
This ring is crafted from 925 sterling silver and finished with a layer of 24-carat gold plating, inspired by the forms of classic vintage jewelry. The design references historical rings with strong, sculptural silhouettes, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
The upper part of the ring features a rounded, smoothly polished surface, contrasted with a ribbed band defined by a regular, rhythmic pattern. The juxtaposition of smooth volume and pronounced texture brings balance and gives the ring its distinctive character.
The vintage inspiration is evident in the proportions and the construction of the form, while the overall design remains rooted in modern aesthetics. The ring is protected with an anti-tarnish coating, which helps prevent silver oxidation and makes everyday care easier.
